The instructor has developed this course as a self-directed online experience, which you are taking alongside of thousands of other learners from around the world. As a result, CalArts instructors don’t have much interaction with learners or the day-to-day operation of the class, aside from answering occasional questions in the course forums.

Because this is a self-directed online experience, instructors and staff do not grade assignments. All assigned required coursework will be either auto-graded quizzes or peer-reviewed assignments. The structure of these assignments allow you to work through the course on a personalized schedule.
