In this optional assignment I'd like you to use all your skills from the last four weeks to create a poster for a new album by a new band. The goal is to get you to apply all that "abstract" graphic design knowledge into a "real" piece of graphic design, a piece that you can shape and control. Then, just like real graphic design, you get to put it out into the world and see people's reactions to it!

Create a poster for a new album by a new band.

The name of your band is “The” + “One of your Adjectives” from the start of Week 2 + “Your Object’s Name” from Week 1 (i.e. The Rusty Keys, The Delicious Apples, The Smudgy Pencils etc.) Make up any title you wish for the album.

Use your imagery from Week 1 as visual content.

If you wish to make more than one poster that’s OK. Use this brief to try out some different techniques and styles and aesthetics, or use it to make different versions and get feedback.

This is an optional assignment, so only written feedback is considered at this time. Use the prompts to give helpful and considered feedback! Your peers will be asked to respond to the following prompts about your work:
