Module 03 · Anxiety Disorders

Open Reflection Question

Coursera ↗

Each module in this course will end with an open reflection question. You may discuss these reflections in the Discussion Forums, but you are not required to turn anything in and you will not be assessed on it. I encourage you to write down your thoughts somewhere - in a journal that you keep, for instance, or on a Google Doc or similar digital space. Throughout the course - and the entire Abnormal Psychology specialization - you can refer to your reflections and consider how your views may or may not be changing.

Module 3 Reflection Question

Researchers are becoming increasingly interested in studying the relationships between bias/victimization experiences and the development of anxiety disorders.  After reading the Parker et. al. article, can you imagine how a primary prevention model might address the underlying causes of anxiety among vulnerable people?
